The Summer Revue (2/3 July)
We are delighted to let you all know that Edward Temple is pulling together a couple of evenings of St. Michael's fun and frivolity in the shape of a Summer Revue. Dave Lye will be the compere and will be helping Edward to sift through all the 'turns' so that we can put on a magnificent show with all the quality that has become associated with St. Michaels Players. Bryony Wilman and Jane Atkinson will be stage managing between them, and Chris Hulatt and Jane will be producing.
Edward has already been in touch with a few people who would like to pull some sketches or other items together. So we are holding a general get-together/discussion on the 10th May in St. Michael's Centre at 8pm A further meeting will be held on the 3rd June, with rehearsals every Monday and Thursday thereafter.
If you want to take part, or just want to find out a bit more about how it will run and what opportunities there are, please come along.
Just to let you know - anyone wanting to do a short sketch or excerpt from a play will be expected to cast it and direct it. If you are only interested in acting and taking part, please come along anyway or contact Edward who will be holding the master-list of sketches.

We're always looking for ideas to go forward. This is our group and we know we want to do am-dram but we're still failing to mobilise more than the usual suspects. Please encourage new members and anyone with an interest.
The autumn production will be "Ladies who Lunch" by Tudor Gates, and will take place 14-16 October 2010, with auditions on Monday 12 July.
